Ingredients
  

  • A handful of blueberries
  • 5 tablespoon blended strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 150 ml almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds

Instructions
 

  • Wash the berries under cold running water, remove any stems or pits, if present. Peel the banana.
  • In a blender, add all the ingredients, starting with the almond milk.
  • Cover the blender with the lid and blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined. Adjust the amount of almond milk, if needed, to achieve the desired thickness.
  • Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve immediately.

Notes

  • When making smoothies, always start by adding liquid ingredients to the blender. This way, you’ll avoid dry ingredients from blocking the bottom of the blender bowl and will ease up the blending process.
  • Use frozen strawberries and/or bananas for a cool and refreshing summer smoothie.
  • To make the smoothie even sweeter, add some extra banana or sweetener (syrup, monk fruit sweetener, sugar, or another), depending on your taste and dietary choices.
  • Use regular milk instead of almond milk (if there are no dietary restrictions).
